RIDE connects over Bluetooth. It works with smart trainers that support FTMS or Tacx FE-C over Bluetooth, and with Bluetooth power meters, heart rate monitors and speed or cadence sensors. A device that only supports ANT+ cannot connect to an iPhone or iPad.
Yes. Open a GPX file in RIDE from Files, Mail or the share sheet, or tap +GPX on the Routes tab. The file needs elevation data, because RIDE uses it to set the resistance on the climbs.
Yes, through your own iCloud account. Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on both devices and make sure iCloud is allowed for RIDE. Without iCloud, your rides stay on the device you rode them on.
Yes. Connect Strava in RIDE under Settings → Connections, and your rides are uploaded automatically.
Your rides and profile are stored on your device and in your own iCloud account, not on our servers. Deleting the app removes them from the device. To remove the copy in iCloud, open iOS Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, and delete the data for RIDE from the storage overview. Support messages sent from the app are deleted from our storage automatically after 90 days; to have yours removed sooner, email info@ride-app.eu.
The quickest way is from the app: tap the gear on the Home screen, then Contact support. Leave Include technical details switched on, so your message arrives together with the app's activity log and we can often help without asking you for more information first.
You can also email info@ride-app.eu. Please mention your device model, iOS version and trainer.
